I've been traveling with my family over the last couple of weeks enjoying the varying architecture and landscape. As we travel through the southern states, the sand dunes, rolling waves, soft shades of color blend in with the striking sunsets creating a calm, serene tone. As nice as it is to retreat for a time, I'm excited to return to the timeless stone walls that often line the narrow hilly roads of Virginia. "There's no place like home."
For those that are not traveling, it would be a good weekend to do some exploring close to home.
